Schlachtfest and German-American Day Celebration Sunday, October 4th

Join us on Sunday, October 5th for our annual Schlachtfest at Hickory Grove Park, 12403 Hickory Grove Rd., Dunlap, IL from noon to 8 pm.  The event is sponsored by the Peoria German-American Central Society.

Schlachtfest is an old German traditional ritual related to the preparing of food resources in the Fall before Winter sets in.

• German Car & Bike Cruis’n!
• Children’s Playground, adult games, bonfire in the evening, and more!
• Fun for the whole family!

Hickory Grove is styled after a typical German Beer Garden.  The Schlachtfest and German-American Day Celebration features German food and entertainment.

We only allow service animals at our public events.  There is no ATM on site.  We take cash only.  Sorry for the inconvenience.
