Our Winterfest pays homage to the early Germanic mead or feasting halls, which were initially large buildings with a single room where the community would gather to socialize. Warriors and others would participate in drinking and eating and the telling of stories. Today, a mead or feast hall might be considered a dining hall or a large bar where people come to socialize after work or on the weekends.
Enjoy a nice hot mug of glühwein (hot spiced wine) as part of the festivities. The Lindenhof features a full bar with German beers on draft, a selection of German wines, and German liqueurs.
Proceeds from the event will be used to fund the various activities of Harmonie as well as for charitable contributions to over 20 local charitable groups.
