
Harmonie Bratfest featuring Keith Zweifel!

Harmonie is happy to welcome old friend Keith Zweifel and his band from Wisconsin back to Peoria for the first time in many years for their Bratfest on Sunday, August 7th at Hickory Grove Park! Keith’s band plays a wide range of music from polkas to “rock’n roll.”
Other entertainment being provided by: Al’s Pals and the Lindenhof Echoes. The entertainment begins at 1:00 pm.
The Bratfest runs from noon to 8 pm – Free Admission and Parking. The Bratfest is a traditional German Picnic held in a beautiful tree covered biergarten. Family friendly event. We will also be celebrating Swiss Independence Day! The event will be held rain or shine!
Special Activities:
A Muscle Car, Hot Rod and Customized Motorcycle Cruis’n runs from noon to 5:00 pm. This includes both American and foreign made vehicles. Participants in the Car and Mortorcycle Cruis’n will receive a coupon for a complimentary beverage (beer, wine, or soft drink) or sandwich good for the day of the event. Participants must arrive prior to 2:30 pm to receive the coupon.
A playground is available for the kids. A shooting tent is also available. Air gun shooters have the opportunity to earn prizes. Try your luck at nagelspielen (nail game) or test your stamina against others in a stein holding competition.
A German gift tent will be open offering a number of imported items from Germany for sale.
Food to be served includes: pork schnitzel, bratwurst, BBQ pulled pork, hotdogs, mashed potatoes with mushroom sauce, German potato salad, sauerkraut, red cabbage, coleslaw, Bavarian pretzels, homemade ice cream, and dessert.
Full dinners served until 6:00 pm. Sandwiches and Bavarian pretzel available afterwards.
No outside coolers are permitted. Only service dogs are allowed.
We accept cash or check only for food and beverages. We do not have an ATM on-site. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Hickory Grove Park, 12403 Hickory Grove Rd., Dunlap. Take Route 40 North to Hickory Grove Rd. Turn east and look for additional signs.
