DESCRIPTION:Why wait until the fall to enjoy a German Oktoberfest?  \nYou are invited to attend our one of a kind Marchtoberfest on Sunday, March 3rd – Noon to 8 pm at the Lindenhof, 7601 N. Harker Drive, Peoria, Illinois 61615. \n\nMarchtoberfest heralds the end of Winter and the start of Spring, much like Oktoberfest signals the end of Summer and the beginning of Fall.  The event is sponsored by Harmonie.  Food will be served until 6pm, unless we run out.  The bar will be open until 8 pm.\nSpecial Buffet!\n$15 per person will consist of:\n\npork rouladen\nbaked chicken\nroast beef\ngreen beans w/bacon\nmashed potatoes w/ gravy\nred cabbage\nfried potatoes\nside salad\nbread\n\nDessert available for additional charge.\nAdults who wear a dirndl or lederhosen will get $2 off of the buffet.\nKids 5 and under will eat for free!    All kids 6-10 years of age without German attire can enjoy the buffet for $7.  If they wear German lederhosen or a Dirndl the buffet is $5!\n\nEntertainment will be provided.\nTraditionally, the beers served at Oktoberfest were brewed in March or spring and then stored underground during the summer before being served in September.  German summers were typically too hot to brew lagers.\nThe Lindenhof features a full bar with German beers on draft, a selection of German wines, and German liqueurs.  We accept cash and checks only.  There is an ATM onsite.\n \nFacebook Event:  https://www.facebook.com/events/3170180249943770\n \n\n
