The Sport Verein Peoria has a long tradition in Central Illinois soccer. Joe Spies put together the first team over 40 years ago. Over the years, some of the best players and coaches in the Peoria area have suited up with the Blues.
Today the Sport Verein sponsors three teams: men's open, women's open and U19 girls. All three compete in the CISL, a local open league, which the Sport Verein co-founded over 25 years ago.
Each of our teams are affiliated with the ISSA and compete in various open tournaments throughout the year.
